If a professional goalkeeper gets a finger injury, as part of their glove contract they can get a custominsed glove made overnight featuring fused finger technology. The goalkeeper can tape their fingers together inside the glove, resulting in the injured finger being supported allowing the goalkeeper to continue playing.
